There aren’t too many words that come to mind to describe the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards green carpet this weekend, but “ratcheeeeeet” is definitely one of them. There were some highs and lows as rap chicks, reality show stars and rappers arrived dressed in their best club attire, designer gear and made-from-scratch dresses, and we’ve got all of the pics.
Catch a few moments below:
Lil Mama showed off her mean abs and new green hair as she walked the green carpet in a BCBG Max Azria ensemble.
Rapper Lola Monroe showed off her post-baby body as she arrived to the
show in a two-piece leather skirt set and Christian Louboutin pumps.
Lola is currently searching for a new label home after Wiz Khalifa
released her from Taylor Gang this past summer.
Lil Scrappy’s newest girlfriend Bambi looked amazing from the neck up.
Newlyweds
Joseline and Stevie J were up to their old tricks on the carpet. [They
clearly did not get the memo that this was an AWARDS show. According to
Hip Hollywood, they confirmed that they were indeed married, and Stevie
revealed, "I bought my wife a new home, some new exotic pets, and new
cars."
Charli Baltimore walked the carpet with Trick Trick while promoting her new mixtape.
Rap girls Eve and Lady Of Rage (without her afro puffs) made an appearance
2 Chainz brought his mother Ms. Epps and his baby's mother as his dates.
Kevin Hart was spotted on the green carpet with an "All Eyes On Me"
shirt before joining his girlfriend Eniko backstage. One of the moments
we are looking forward to seeing is Kevin Hart perform in one of the
cyphers with his Real Husbands of Hollywood costars Nick Cannon, Boris
Kodjoe, Dwayne Martin, J.B. Smoove and Nelly. Laughs guaranteed.
Speaking of Nelly, he was spotted on the carpet rocking leather shorts.
Musiq Soulchild made his return to the scene on the green carpet.
Although most of Hip Hop's heavyweights seem to have better things to do than show up to an award show dedicated solely to Hip Hop, there were some appearances by Diddy, Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar. (Wale, J. Cole, Jay Z, Kanye, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and more were all missing in action.)
Future caught up with BET's Stephen Hill.

Ricky Rozay was spotted showing off his tatted up body and giving a fan more love than she could handle.
Kendrick was spotted backstage standing in third position while catching up with Uncle Snoop. He is so cute and tiny!
