How To Check If 100 Naira Centenary Note Is Original With Phone

Do you know that you can easily check if the new 100 Naira Commemorative Centenary Banknote is original or fake?   2. Look for the barcode somewhere on the left half of the note as shown in the image below.
  3. Launch your QRC scanner and focus your camera on the barcode
  4. It should scan it quickly and provide a link for you to click, open the link

This link will open on your browser with a page that contains all the information about the centenary. It starts with a picture of President Goodluck Jonathan, followed by a picture from the amalgamation day at Tinubu street, Lagos, Nigeria in 1914.
