3 Teenage Stowaways Arrested At The Murtala Mohammed International Airport

Weeks after 13-year-old Daniel Oikhena was handsomely rewarded for beating airport security officials in Benin Airport to hide in a tyre compartment of a Lagos-bound Arik plane, the Airport Command of the Nigeria Police Force has arrested three teenagers for alleged illegal attempt to board some international flights in Lagos.

Commissioner of Police for the Command, Salahu Waheed, confirmed that the trio of Lateef Popoola, 13; Amadi Joshua, 14; and Ukpabio Onyedikachi, 14, were arrested at different times at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja.

The teenagers, told newsmen they had been nursing the idea of travelling abroad, adding that they were not ready to execute their plans yet.

Lateef said,

“I am not in school, I dropped out in Primary three. I was arrested last week Wednesday. I actually wanted to travel but I’m yet to decide where I will go. So, I just went to the tarmac to see the aeroplanes .”

Onyedikachi and Joshua were said to have been arrested after asking some security agents where Malaysia flights were boarding.

After being questioned, the boys, who were both in SS1, said they had no travel documents and were immediately arrested.

Onyedikachi said, “We were at the departure area of the airport. We did not attempt to travel out. We were just loitering and wanted to see the aeroplanes. We did not want to travel out on that day.”

The Police Commissioner, while handing over the kids to their mothers said,

“These boys were found at different times at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. Their aim was to get into any plane and travel out of Nigeria.
“I decided to hand them over to their parents so they will be well taken care of and stop dwelling on the fantasy that you can just come into the airport, enter a plane and travel.
“Their state governments should try to rehabilitate them just like Edo State did for the stowaway in Benin.
“Lateef Popoola is from Ogun State; Amadi Joshua is from Ebonyi ,while Ukpabio Onyedikachi is from Abia State.
“The airport is not a place that you can just come into and travel. There are formalities. We don’t want to see these children here again.”

Jim Iyke & TB Joshua Were Just Acting – Ghanaian Radio

Kwame Bee, the Host of Cruise Control drive time programme on Ghanaian based private owned radio station Hitz 103.9 FM blasted T.B. Joshua and Jim Iyke, on air and in the social media today saying,in this modern world where people are trying to take advantage of God, anything is possible.

“I don’t really believe in this T.B. Joshua and Jim Iyke’s deliverance, I don’t believe in T.B. Joshua and his well-planned Gimmicks. Take a careful look at the video, as a good film maker so you can’t simply tell is not real. It was planned, a lot of pastors do this, is a way to prove they are powerful” Kwame Bee said on air.

Beyonce was a good girl till she met me...I made her gangsta-JayZ

In the recent issue of Vanity Fair, Jayz who is on the cover opens up on his drug past and also talks about Beyonce, how hard it was to impress her and says he changed her from a good girl to a gangsta.
On Drug dealing

''I know about budgets. I was a drug dealer. To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up.Not until later, when I realised the effects on the community,I started looking at the community on the whole, but in the beginning no.

'I was thinking about surviving. I was thinking about improving my situation. I was thinking about buying clothes.''You have to have an exit strategy, because your window(for dealing drugs) is very small. You're going to get locked up or you're going to die

On dating Beyonce..

'''We were just beginning to try to date each other. Well, you know, you've got to try first. You got to dazzle ... wine and dine.''If I’m as cool as I am, yes. But she’s a charming Southern girl, you know, she’s not impressed... But I would have definitely had to be this cool.'

He also confirms that the line on his latest album: 'She was a good girl ’til she knew me' is about his wife.
When quizzed if she is no longer a 'good girl', Jay-Z responds: 'Nah. She’s gangsta now.'
