Prince Harry celebrates royal baby girl's birth at AFL game

'I can't wait to meet her': Prince Harry's excitement over 'absolutely beautiful' niece as he continues army duty in Australia

Prince Harry enjoyed an AFL match at Perth's Domain Stadium following the birth of his niece, the PrincessNow fifth in line to the throne, Harry looked relaxed as he chatted with friends in the stadium. He was informed of the princess's birth before it was publicly announced yesterday morning 

Prince Harry has said he 'can't wait' to meet his newborn baby niece, the as-yet unnamed princess of Cambridge. 
Continuing his month-long secondment in Australia, the 30-year-old said his brother's second child is 'absolutely beautiful'. 
As the world celebrated the news of the royal baby's arrival yesterday Harry looked relaxed as he took in a football game in Perth. 
Dressed casually in a baseball and grey jumper, the royal smiled and waved at well wishers as news of his niece's birth spread. 
He was informed of the baby's safe delivery before a public announcement was made.

Welcome to the world, princess! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge beamed with pride as they introduced their newborn daughter to the world's media outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London 

He was told of his niece's arrival before it was announced publicly in the UK and abroad on the Kensington Palace Twitter account.  
The Princess was born at 8.34am London time, which was 5.34pm in Perth where her uncle was eagerly awaiting the news.
'The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news,’ Kensington Palace announced in a statement following the birth.
