On Saturday May 2nd all roads and private jets led to Las Vegas to watch the historical Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquaio fight at the MGM Grand Hotel. A few Naija celebs like Davido, Don Jazzy and Wizkid where also in the city known as “Sin City” for fight weekend.
Yesterday Tee Billz, music manager and husband to pop diva Tiwa Savage shared a screenshot of a text chat he had with a friend who asked him why he was not in Las Vegas to watch the fight.
Tee Billz kept it real with his friend saying,
Do you know what the dollar exchange rate is now? Flight + Hotel + Ticket = Down Payment on a house. DSTV is showing that sh*t for free my ni**a
LOL! Dude kept it real and sensible. He’s not out here trying to stunt and pretend to be someone he is not on. He even said if Don Jazzy had paid for him he would have asked him to give him the money instead.
That’s grown man stuff right there. When you’re married, with 2 kids and another on the way, you can’t be giving your money to Mayweather and Pacqauio so that you and your family will soak garri later…it’s called priorities.
