Season Two of world acclaimed talent fiesta, Nigeria’s Got Talent, is set for an exciting first round in Abuja as thousands of eager hopefuls prepare to jostle for a once in a lifetime opportunity to emerge on the talent platform.
The first audition, which will hold on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at Bolton White Hotel, Garki, Abuja kicks off a nationwide tour spanning eight cities.
“We saw some of the most talented contestants right here in Abuja, at NGT 1, so you can see why I’m really excited to be back here again,” says Adaora Mbelu, Project Manager for Nigeria’s Got Talent.
“I have no doubt that the auditions will spring up some really big surprises from some of the best dancers, singers, contortionists, magicians etc in the country. The response we’ve received so far has been truly heart warming. Nigerians are about the most inspired and talented people around; and Nigeria’s Got Talent is totally focused on discovering and nurturing this talent,” she assures.
“Less than a year ago, my life changed on this show. It was the greatest opportunity I’d ever had to display my talent. Yes, I’m still the ‘kid’ who won but in so many ways, since that day I emerged winner, I’ve grown bigger and better a hundred fold. So I’m honestly as excited as everyone else about Season 2. It’s good to see Nigeria’s Got Talent is back and also know that soon some talented individuals will have a unique chance to display their talent on a world class platform.” notes Amarachi Uyanne, winner of NGT Season 1.
The second edition of the show is hosted by enigmatic compere, Andre Blaze and will see delectable actress, Kate Henshaw; On-Air Personality, Dan Foster and comedian, Yibo Koko returning to the judges seats.
The talent show holds from October 2013 to March 2014 and offers a mouth watering grand prize of N10 million.
Auditions also hold in Calabar October 12, Port Harcourt October 15th, Enugu October 17th, Asaba October 19th , Benin October 21st, Ibadan October 23rd and Lagos October 26thand October 27th 2013.
