Pele: Brazilian football legend undergoes prostate surgery

According to a statement from the hospital, the three-time FIFA World Cup winner is in stable conditions after the surgery
 
Brazilian football legend Pele last underwent a  prostate surgery in a Sao Paulo hospital this week.
According to Associate Press, the 74-year-old underwent the procedure called transurethral resection of the prostate at the Albert Einstein Hospital.
According to a statement from the hospital, the three-time FIFA World Cup winner is in stable conditions after the surgery.
Though the hospital did not reveal the day of the surgery, Pele was said to have been operated on, on Tuesday, May 5 after he complained of urinary probems.
Pele it can be recalled was hospitalized for two weeks in January because of the same urinary problem.
The infection stemmed from a surgery to remove kidney stones in November.
