Dear Avenger’s fans, Samsung wants to put a very wide smile on your face. The Korean tech giant is tapping into it’s partnership with Marvel to give its newest flagship an Iron-Manthemed makeover.
The company announced on Friday that it will be releasing an Iron Man-themed version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
The announcement which was made on Twitter in the early hours of Friday revealed precious little about the phone except that it was “coming soon”. Also it alluded that it may only be available in some regions.
An earlier report in the Korea Times had also quoted a Samsung executive as saying that the Iron Man-branded phones would be red and roll out in late May or early June.
According to Mashable, a Samsung spokesperson confirmed that the smartphone will be available as a limited edition offering in some markets, saying that more details of the device will be announced in the coming weeks.
This isn’t Samsung’s first collaboration with Marvel. The Korean company has an ongoing deal that allows customers to get four free Avengers-themed cases when they purchase a new Galaxy Note 4.
Although the cases n that deal include ones for Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America, it is unclear if that is the same package will be available with the S6 Edge.
